Miniature punch needle for Russian punch embroidery
This is a very fine punch needle which uses only one strand of thread - ideal for miniature rug embroidery and extra fine embroidery. With this very fine punch needle the same results are achieved as in Russian punch embroidery.

The Dancing Ribbon and Rug Punch Needle
Australian designed and hand made, this special punchneedle, The Dancing Ribbon and Rug Punch Needle, works 7mm to 13mm silk ribbon. The punch needle is easily and simply adjusted to different lengths to produce loops of varying sizes when working punch embroidery. The results are sumptuous and thrilling. It is necessary to use a lip-lock hoop when doing embroidery with the Dancing Ribbon Punch Needle. An 8" (20cm) or 10" (25cm) lip-lock hoop is ideal to use when designing with silk ribbon embroidery.
This punchneedle works equally well for making rugs using the equivelant of 12 ply wool threaded through the needle.
The Dancing Ribbon and Rug needle is beautifully boxed with two threaders and instructions.
These hoops have a special lip on the inner ring which assists in holding the fabric very tight - an absolute requirement when embroidering with a punch needle.

Acrylic 2 ply Yarn
This yarn is available on 200 yard (approx. 178m) spools and in many different colours. It is economical to use and the results are quite gorgeous.
The colours shown are only a small sample of the 100 colours available.
This yarn can be brushed with a fluff brush where a fluffy effect is required.
Fluff Brush
A fluff brush has wire bristles which are used to brush out punch embroidered loops. It brushes acrylic yarns beautifully to give a fluffy look to loops when brushed.

Iron-On Transfer Pen
An iron-on transfer pen is one of the easiest methods for transferring a design onto fabric. Simply trace your chosen design with the heat transfer pen onto tracing paper or computer paper. Turn the traced image over so that it is resting on the fabric you are going to use.

Magic Pen
The image from the Magic Pen can be removed with a damp cloth. The Magic Pen is ideal to use when you want to mark an image onto the front of the fabric in preparation for reverse punchneedle embroidery. It is not permanent and is easily erasable. Beware, sometimes it can simply dissappear overnight and any pre-drawing will need to be re-drawn. This pen has two tips - a fine and a thick.

You Can Wash It Craft glue is used to seal the edges of a completed punchneedle embroidery motif prior to cutting it away from the fabric.
