These fabulous bears have been designed exclusively by Dancing Needle Designs. They are embroidered using a specially blended 2 ply acrylic yarn.

The Regal Bear
This Regal Bear been worked in punchneedle embroidery. The fibres of the worked loops, when cut, spring open to give the exotic effect of velvet. This bear has not been brushed. It is the special acrylic yarn which when cut gives this wonderful effect. The Regal Bear needs four spools of acrylic yarn (see Acrylic yarns)
Available in a pattern pack with instructions, a colour photograph and the design printed onto fabric - $17.50 AUD plus P&H.

Sweet Baby Bear
This dear little bear will look lovely on a baby blanket. Sweet Baby Bear has been worked with a special blend of acrylic yarn. Three different coloured spools of yarn are required (see Acrylic yarns)

A little note
It is preferable that an 8" (20cm) lip lock hoop is used for the bears. If however, you only have a 6" (15cm) hoop, you can move the hoop and tighten it over the cut yarn. It may, though, be difficult to get the fabric tight in the hoop due to the thickness of the cut yarn. The yarn will be flattened and will need to raised up with the steam from a hot iron.
