hi i am new at needle punching and i love it, but i am having trouble when i am punching one color right next to the other. the stitches seem to blend together giving it a sloppy look then it takes time to go in with a sewing needle and gentle separting the loops. please help me learn this technique. thanks |

To prevent the stitches from blending into each other is simply done by leaving a small space between each colour change. You will be amazed when you do this just how it will change the appearance of your work and prevent the time consuming job of separating many of the loops from one another other.
There is a very good description of exactly how to prevent this happening in by third book “Punchneedle embroidery – Dancing Needles”. |
